The Boston Marathon is more than just a race. Each year, the entire Boston community comes together to cheer on passionate runners participating from around the world. Festivities begin the night before with a feast provided by the city. On marathon day, speculators and volunteers line the course to motivate and support athletes for 26.6 long miles.
