Y'all, I'm such a sucker for watching gymnastics routines set to popular music. My jaw was on the damn floor when I first saw UCLA athlete Katelyn Ohashi perform to a mashup of Michael Jackson songs, and now-former UCLA gymnast Hallie Mossett similarly made my heart swoon when she slayed her Beyoncé-inspired floor routine last year. So when I went down a YouTube video rabbit hole and came across Olena Diachenko's routine to a Whitney Houston song, I all but lost my sh*t.

A 16-year-old Ukrainian athlete, Olena specializes in rhythmic gymnastics, an artistic form of gymnastics that combines fluid dance-like movements with the use of an apparatus such as a ball, hoop, or ribbon. It's a truly elegant, awe-inspiring sport, and Olena sure knows how to wow a crowd with her talent — and her music choice, for that matter.

At the 2018 Irina Cup, a recent gymnastics competition in Poland, Olena took the floor wearing a gorgeous sparkly leotard and performed to Whitney Houston's 1992 smash hit, "I Will Always Love You." The Ukrainian athlete perfectly synced up her routine to the iconic song, tossing her shiny silver ball into the air and somehow catching it between her feet and thighs with calm ease while contorting her body in ways that make me ache just watching it.

See Olena's breathtaking Irina Cup performance for yourself in the video above, and you'll undoubtedly develop a newfound obsession with this graceful sport. (Oh, and you'll likely have the lyrics to the Whitney Houston jam stuck in your head for the rest of the day, too.)
