With ingredients you probably already have at home, you can make a decadent, perfectly sweet, and healthy vegan tray bake in under 25 minutes. Thanks to TikTok user @julzwihongi, we now have a recipe for a perfect lazy vegan peanut butter and banana slice, and it may just be enough to kick regular old banana bread off the menu. A weekend breakfast treat or addictive movie-night snack, this will be ready in no time, and will satisfy even the sweetest of cravings. The best part of all is that it's made out of ingredients that are delicious and nutritious. You'll bring back this recipe again and again, because it's great for sharing with family and friends — or not sharing at all.
To make your own peanut butter and banana slice, first preheat your oven to 350°F. While that's heating up, mash four bananas in a large bowl, then simply add four cups of oats, one cup of your favorite seed or nut butter, and half a block of chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips. Mix it together, set it into a lined baking tray, and pop the tray in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden. Leave it to rest for 10 minutes, cut it into slices, and in the words of @julzwihongi, "eat it all in one go."
