Khloé Kardashian Created the Ultimate Black Leggings, and You Can Shop Them All at Nordstrom

Between how they fit, how they look, and how they hold up during a grueling workout session, we expect a lot from our leggings. So what happens when you can't find the perfect ones? Well, if you're Khloé Kardashian, you design them yourself.

The entrepreneur recently launched activewear under her Good American clothing line with cofounder Emma Grede, and considering how much time the two of them invested in developing and wear-testing the collection (over a year to be exact), it's no surprise that they've perfected the ultimate pair. Plus, they both rely on leggings so much in their day-to-day that when it came time to create their own, they knew exactly what they wanted — and didn't want. Now, not only can they wear their own design, women everywhere can as well.

So what can you expect from Good American leggings? First and foremost: a really high waist.

"Both Emma and I work out all the time, and when it comes to our workout clothes, it's all about the little design details that make for the perfect leggings," Khloé shared. "We always knew that we wanted the rise of the leggings to be extra high. This was something that was important to the both of us because we know for even our own bodies, that's way more flattering. We've experienced fabric rippling at the top and flipping forward in workouts, so we knew we had to get it just right since it's something a lot of women experience."

Of course, more so than how they look, Khloé and Emma knew the leggings had to perform. "Our fabrics feature a variety of properties you'd want in your workout gear: four-way stretch, compression, UV protection, and moisture-wicking materials," Emma added.

But, if there's one aspect they're particularly excited about, it's the fact that these leggings aren't see-through. "If the leggings are in fact wicking away sweat, when you bend over, we couldn't have them be see-through," Emma noted. Sure enough, Good American leggings feature black on black spandex, so nothing shows when you bend over. Khloé and Emma even went as far as inspecting the fabric themselves. "We would go outside in the sunlight and take a photo with the flash to make sure that you can never see through the leggings!"
