Watch the Awe-Inspiring Free-Skate Routine That Won Nathan Chen His Third National Title

Stunning. Elegant. Awe-inspiring. Beyoncé-level flawless. There truly aren't enough words in the dictionary to describe Nathan Chen's free-skate routine at the 2019 US Figure Skating Championships. The 19-year-old athlete earned his third consecutive national title on Jan. 27 after captivating the audience (and the judges) with a performance set to "Land of All" by Woodkid. Nathan started the routine with a bang by landing a quadruple lutz, and he went on to execute three more quad jumps to perfection, earning him a total score of 228.80 points.

Somewhat ironically, when Nathan headed to the podium to accept his gold medal, he tripped over the rug situated on top of the ice rink. LOL! But hey, at least he didn't lose his footing during the competition. Ahead, watch Nathan's medal-winning free-skate routine, followed by a clip of his oh-so-relatable stumble. Congrats to the reigning champ!
