Dry and crumbly, these waffles will make your mouth feel like a desert. The waffles try to offset their terrible gluten-free texture by adding more buttery flavor and vanilla, but it just doesn't cover up the terrible enough.

If you're gluten free, you'll find these waffles have a slightly sweet flavor and great crunch. However, many found this waffle to taste like cardboard with a chalky aftertaste and even went so far as to call it a "tragedy of a waffle."

Tasters loved the crispy texture, but the waffle itself had no flavor. One went so far as to say it reminded him of "packing peanuts." Yuck!

These homestyle waffles taste strangely like blueberries. Some claimed these taste a little too much like whole wheat, while others complained of the artificial flavor. At any rate, these waffles are just OK.

These are just your standard frozen waffles. There's nothing special or memorable about them. They're not bad; they're just bland.

Eggo Buttermilk ($3)

Half of the tasters gave this waffle a near-perfect score for its classic taste and crisp exterior. The other half turned their noses up at the artificial flavor and pungent freezer smell and taste.

Trader Joe's Multi Grain Toaster Waffles ($2)

This waffle is the best of both worlds. It is full of wholesome grains yet has a great fluffy texture and classic buttermilk waffle flavor. It's slightly sweet, too, which adds to its awesome flavor.

Eggo Cinnamon Toast ($3)

Cinnamon toast in waffle form?! Need we say more . . . Tasters couldn't get enough of the cinnamon-sugar saturated within each bite. What's great about this waffle is there's enough flavor and sweetness to get away with eating it on the go sans any syrup.
