How Caramel Apple Oreos Compare to the Lollipops

For the second year in a row, Caramel Apple Oreos hit Target shelves this week. We missed out on this seasonal flavor last year, so we had to try them out to see if they are worth throwing in your cart!

The blond Oreo cookies contain two frosting halves: one caramel side and another green apple creme flavor. As someone who isn't crazy about green apple flavor, I loved these Oreos for the salty cookie and subtle flavor. However, the majority of tasters complained of the sour, artificial flavor (and color) paired with the buttery cookie. Many said the cookies didn't remind them at all of caramel apples and that they'd definitely rather have a lollipop. Despite being a group divided, one thing is certain: Oreo is bringing this flavor back on shelves for a second year for a reason! It must have sold a lot of those sandwich cookies to rerelease this limited-edition flavor.
