The Shamrock Shake Returns, Along With 5 More Minty Beverages at McDonald's!

McDonald's debuts a chocolatey line of beverages, sweetened with minty-vanilla Shamrock Syrup, the main ingredient found in the beloved Shamrock Shake, pictured above. Each Spring, McDonald's has released this fan favorite, but it's the first time they have extended the flavor to other milkshakes, hot chocolate, and coffee-based drinks. After the success of the peppermint mocha, it makes sense McDonald's would want to find another seasonal way to incorporate mint and chocolate flavors into their menu. Also worth noting, the drinks are topped with green sugar crystal sprinkles, so your Instagrammed beverages are sure to dazzle.

So what drinks beyond the Shamrock Shake will you be able to order? Here's the full line, according to Brand Eating:

New Chocolate Shamrock Shake: "A layered shake with chocolate shake on the bottom and Shamrock Shake on top. It comes topped with whipped topping, green sugar crystals, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup."

New Shamrock Chocolate Chip Frappe: "A Chocolate Chip Frappe (mocha frappe base and ice) blended with Shamrock Shake syrup and finished with whipped topping, green sugar crystals, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup."

New Shamrock Hot Chocolate: "A hot chocolate (steamed milk and chocolate syrup) with Shamrock Shake syrup."

New Shamrock Mocha: "A mocha (chocolate syrup, espresso, and steamed milk) with Shamrock Shake syrup."
