We all have our go-to Starbucks order that is near and dear to our hearts. We even take great pride when the barista has it memorized too (this feat takes time and dedication, mind you). But sometimes it's fun to mix it up, and customers have created a secret menu to do just that. The following list highlights 10 of the over 200 secret menu items that can be found on StarbucksSecretMenu.net (not affiliated with the coffee company). For each drink, I will give you exact directions on how to order the drink, plus my star rating of the particular drink (one being don't waste your money and five being you have a new go-to drink order).

Tequila Sunset Refresher

The only thing missing in this drink is the tequila; besides that it's perfectly refreshing and was the perfect complement to my day by the pool.

Here's how to order:

  • Fill cup to 3/4 with iced green tea
  • Top it with 1/4 passion tea

★★★☆☆

Gummy Bear Refresher

Gummy Bear Refresher

Grab this before you go catch a movie because it tastes exactly like the bag of gummy bears you would eat with your popcorn. It has the sugary, fruity essence we all know and love about the classic chewy bear. I rank this low on the tastiness scale because it was almost a little too sweet for my liking (maybe the baristas went a little crazy with the extra flavor pumps?). Perhaps start with 1/2 pump of each syrup for a tall to be on the safe side.

Here's how to order:

  • Order a Strawberry Acaí Refresher
  • + 2 pumps of peach syrup
  • + 2 pumps of raspberry syrup

★★☆☆☆

Purple Drink

Purple Drink

Step aside, Pink Drink; the Purple Drink is the new pink. The Purple Drink reminded me of a blueberry graham cracker (if that's even a thing?). It had the definite berry essence but then has a surprising cinnamon and honey quality as well.

Here's how to order:

  • Order a Passion Fruit Iced Tea
  • Replace water with soy milk
  • + vanilla syrup
  • + freeze-dried blackberries

★★☆☆

Cotton Candy Frappuccino

Cotton Candy Frappuccino

The initial taste of the Cotton Candy Frappuccino is reminiscent of the fluffy pink treat you'd beg your parents for as a sugar-crazed kid. As an adult who just ordered this pink concoction, not much has changed.

Here's how to order:

  • Order a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
  • + raspberry syrup (1 pump tall, 1 1/2 pumps grande, 2 pumps venti)

★★★☆☆

Birthday Cake Frappuccino

Birthday Cake Frappuccino

I highly recommend the Birthday Cake Frappuccino even if it’s not your birthday because it's a little piece of heaven. Bonus points for it not putting me into a sugary coma. It had just the right amount of sweetness and left me wanting a giant piece of fluffy Funfetti cake after. The only element missing from this scrumptious drink was sprinkles (but that’s just me being high maintenance).

Here's how to order:

  • Order a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
  • + 2 pumps of hazelnut syrup (for a grande)
  • Top it with whipped cream or raspberry whipped cream (the location I ordered from didn’t have raspberry whipped cream, so I had to settle with normal whipped cream.)

★★★☆

Teddy Graham Frappuccino

Teddy Graham Frappuccino

This Teddy Graham Frappuccino tastes exactly like a box of Teddy Grahams. It has a perfect balance of honey and cinnamon to make you feel like a kid again munching on a those adorable little golden bears.

Here's how to order:

  • Order a grande Coffee Frappuccino
  • Sub heavy whipping cream for milk
  • + 1 1/2 (hot bar) pumps of vanilla
  • + 1 1/2 (hot bar) pumps of cinnamon dolce
  • Blend in whipped cream
  • + caramel sauce on top and bottom
  • + whipped cream and chestnut praline topping (or in my case actually go and buy some Teddy Grahams to put on top to heighten the effect)

★★★★

Thin Mint Frappuccino

Thin Mint Frappuccino

Thin Mint Frappuccino is hands down my favorite drink from the menu and had me feeling all types of nostalgia from my Girl Scout days. It tastes exactly like the original Thin Mint cookies with the perfect combo of minty, chocolaty goodness. It could have had a perfect score if I had actual Thin Mints sprinkled in it. (Side note: I thought the drink was going to be green when I ordered it because of the green tea base and was surprised to see it wasn't. Don't be alarmed if yours isn't green as well.)

Here's how to order:

  • Tazo Green Tea Crème Frappuccino
  • + java chips
  • + mocha syrup (1 pump tall, 2 pumps grande, 3 pumps venti)
  • + peppermint syrup (1 pump tall, 1 1/2 pumps grande, 2 pumps venti)

★★★★

Butterbeer Frappuccino

Butterbeer Frappuccino

The Harry Potter-inspired Frappuccino did not disappoint. Having tried Butterbeer at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, I can say that the taste comparison was almost identical, the Frap being a more creamy version. I would rank this drink five stars because it truly is delicious.

Here's how to order:

  • Order a tall Crème Frappuccino base with whole milk
  • + 3 pumps of caramel syrup
  • + 3 pumps of toffee nut syrup
  • Top with caramel drizzle

Pink Drink

Pink Drink

The Pink Drink took the internet by storm last year, and for good reason too. The drink tastes absolutely amazing, almost like tart strawberry milk. It has a smooth, silky consistency with a sweet berry mix. Though it's now part of the official menu, it started as a secret menu item!

Here's how to order:

  • Order a Strawberry Acaí Refresher
  • Replace water with coconut milk
  • + freeze-dried strawberries

★★★★★

Oreo Frappuccino

Oreo Frappuccino

The Oreo Frappuccino was another crowd-pleaser, at least in my book, that is. I am particularly fond of Oreos (although, who isn't?) and, for that matter, any cookies. So when I discovered this drink tastes exactly like cookies and cream with Oreos, I had fallen into a deep chocolaty love.

Here's how to order:

  • Order a Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino
  • Replace regular mocha sauce with white mocha sauce
  • + chocolate or regular whipped cream (or in my case, add Oreo crumbles for maximum tasting experience)
