What's New in Food This June

Ice cream, cold beer, tequila gummies, and The Pioneer Woman's newest magazine: these are the stuff Summer is made of. Take a look at all the newest products in the food world that we've tried and can verify are 100 percent delicious.

Williams Sonoma and Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream Starter

Williams Sonoma and Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream Starter

"Williams Sonoma teamed up with San Francisco-based Humphry Slocombe ice cream to create a series of ice cream starters ($13 each) that just require half-and-half, heavy cream, and of course an ice cream maker. I personally can't wait to try Secret Breakfast, a bourbon-and-corn-flake-flavored ice cream." — Anna Monette Roberts, editor, Food

Adventures in Starry Kitchen Cookbook

Adventures in Starry Kitchen Cookbook

"I would not be where I am today without Starry Kitchen. Husband and wife duo Nguyen and Thi Tran didn't realize that they were starting the birth of a movement in Los Angeles when they created one of the biggest and most infamous illegal pop-up restaurants out of their apartment. They just knew they loved good food and good company and wanted to share that love with the world. Several pop-ups, crazy stories, and illicit meals later, they are launching their first cookbook, and let me tell you, it's a great read. Personally, I had first heard about them back in the day when I was still doing feature film development, longing to make my mark on the food world. Their spirit, honesty, and ability to take the leap into the unknown gave me the courage to quit my job and eventually end up where I am, here at POPSUGAR. Be sure to check it out; Adventures in Starry Kitchen ($20) hits both digital and literal shelves on June 6!" — Nicole Iizuka, senior producer and director

Oreo O's

Oreo O's

"Let's get this out of the way: Oreo O's aren't a brand-new cereal (ICYMI, they launched in 1998). But what's new is that they're returning to stores after a 10-year hiatus! Since the iconic childhood cereal will only be available at Walmart for three months starting on June 23, it's nonnegotiable that I stock up." — Erin Cullum, assistant editor, Food

OXO Chef's Mandoline Slicer 2.0

OXO Chef's Mandoline Slicer 2.0

"The promise of paper-thin, evenly sliced fruits and vegetables is compelling, but for years, my mandoline has sat in a kitchen cabinet collecting dust. Why? Most models are tricky to adjust or clunky at best, dangerous at worst. But not OXO Chef's Mandoline Slicer 2.0 ($80), a redesigned, ridiculously-easy-to-use tool that adjusts thickness and style of cut at a click and is easy to clean and store. One small note: though the provided hand guard is better than other models I've tried, I still prefer to use a cut-resistant glove ($13 per pair) for more control." — Nicole Perry, contributor

Wedgwood Wonderlust Tea Collection

Wedgwood Wonderlust Tea Collection

"Not only is Wedgwood's new Wonderlust collection ($13 and up) so damn pretty, but the tea is also delicious. The whole collection is inspired by beautiful places around the world, and it includes tea and teaware. The teacups are just as functional as they are beautiful, so even though they look like display pieces, I don't have to feel bad about using it for my morning tea every day!" — Hedy Phillips, editor, Living

Rise Buddy

Rise Buddy

"These gluten-free, 100 percent whole-grain brown rice chips might be a healthier alternative than other snacks out there, but all I know is ever since our office tried Rise Buddy ($18 for 12 bags) snacks, we crave them! The baked not fried chips are super crispy and full of flavor. My personal favorite is the Pizza flavor, but the first to go was the Sour Cream & Onion. I can't wait to stock up on these for Summer picnics and road trips." — Brandi Milloy, host and producer, Food

Mi Cocina Denim Knife Roll

Mi Cocina Denim Knife Roll

"For any culinary crafts person who's invested in their dream knife collection, you will fall head over heels in love with this sexy denim knife roll ($165) from Mi Cocina. Not only will it keep your precious cargo safe and secure while looking great, but it also has spots for business cards and a tablet, two useful tools in our modern networking world. I can't wait to wrap my kit up in one of these ASAP." — NI

The Pioneer Woman Magazine

The Pioneer Woman Magazine

"The brand-new The Pioneer Woman Magazine is finally out this June! We've awaited its release for months now. I can't wait to dive into the pages, preferably while lounging in the sun. Though I'm sure I'll love every feature, I'm particularly drawn to Ree Drummond's guide for cowgirl boots." — AMR

Sugarfina Casamigos Tequila Gummies

Sugarfina Casamigos Tequila Gummies

"There's a new line of tequila-infused candy from Sugarfina, the always-trendy, California-based candy boutique that introduced Rosé gummy bears last year, and it is SO good. The Casamigos collection includes three different kinds of alcohol-infused candy (both gummies and chocolate, $9 each) that will satisfy your sweet tooth and just might get you buzzed. I tried each flavor (Shake Your Margarita, Paloma Por Favor, and Give It a Shot), and each one really does taste like a smooth, satisfying tequila cocktail that goes down easy. This comes as no surprise since Casamigos is George Clooney's tequila brand, which is bound to be a good one. Watch out for the Give It a Shot chocolates — they pop in your mouth and reveal a burst of tequila that might get you tipsy after a few!" — EC

Daily Harvest Overnight Oats and Chia Parfaits

Daily Harvest Overnight Oats and Chia Parfaits

"If not having enough time or energy for meal prep and planning is what's getting in between you and a satisfying breakfast, Daily Harvest's new line of frozen chia puddings and overnight oats may be the perfect solution. Shipped to your doorstep on dry ice, these individually portioned breakfasts are packed with on-trend ingredients like pea protein, reishi mushroom, and turmeric and are ready to eat after an overnight thaw in the fridge with some nut milk. My favorite flavors are the Cinnamon Protein and Banana and Pumpkin and Chia; I'm also a fan of the brand's Carrot and Chia Smoothie ($7 and up)." — NP

360° Sippy Cup by Munchkin

360° Sippy Cup by Munchkin

"This Miracle Stainless Steel 360° Sippy Cup by Munchkin ($15) might be for kids, but that doesn't mean it's not already a staple in my prenatal yoga bag! The 360-degree edge makes it super convenient to drink from any side of the cup, but it's also nice that you don't have to worry about opening and closing the top, because it automatically seals when you stop drinking, perfect for this clumsy mama-to-be. Plus it keeps beverages cold for 15 hours. This may have been a baby shower gift for my future baby, but I'm getting plenty of use out of it now and see a lot more in my future . . . as a sippy wine cup!" — BLM

Craft X Beer Box

Craft X Beer Box

"Are you the type of person who absolutely loves visiting tasting rooms just to check out what new innovations brewers are doing with their stock? Do you love being in the know with the cutting edge in craft beer? I know I am, and this Craft X Beer ($40/month) subscription box is pretty much my dream. These aren't the beers you can find in stores, curated into a box. No. These are tasting-room beers that you can only find by driving around the country and visiting actual breweries. Exclusive, rare, and created just for your tasting pleasure, Craft X is the ultimate subscription to get for yourself and any of your craft-beer-loving friends!" — NI

My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream

My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream

"My/Mo ($5.99) mochi-wrapped ice cream have fun, unconventional flavors, like Mint Chocolate Chip and Cookies & Cream, in additional to more traditional fruit flavors. I'm personally not a huge mint and chocolate fan, but My/Mo made me a believer. One mochi is only 110 calories, so I will definitely be indulging all Summer long!" — Megan Lutz, associate producer, Food

Chuao Totally Tangy Mango

Chuao Totally Tangy Mango

"If you love chili-dusted dried mango, chocolate-covered mango, or just delicious things in general, pick up a bar of Chuao Totally Tangy Mango ($6) posthaste. The silky, acidic dark chocolate is a perfect match for chewy bits of sweet-tart mango and a hit of chili; plus, it's Fair Trade Certified. Really, it's dangerously good." — NP

Santo Puro Mezquila

Santo Puro Mezquila

"Adam Levine and Sammy Hagar have started their own alcohol brand dubbed the 'world's first mezquila,' a blend of tequila and mezcal. I was skeptical at first, especially since tequila is technically a mezcal, so the statement doesn't completely make sense. However, when I did finally give Santo Puro Mezquila ($55) a sip, I was pleasantly surprised. It pairs really well with some blood orange, jalapeño, and my favorite Ancho Reyes. So next time you see it on the bar, give it a try!" — NI

Stasher Bags

Stasher Bags

"Ever since I discovered these Stasher Bags ($12), I've stopped purchasing plastic storage bags and plasticware. Seriously. Made of pure platinum food-grade silicone, these reusable bags can go from the refrigerator to the freezer to the microwave and dishwasher. Game changer! I love using them to store all of my frozen fruit for smoothies, but I even use these multipurpose bags for my gym toiletries and makeup." — BLM

Stoli Crushed Pineapple and Grapefruit

Stoli Crushed Pineapple and Grapefruit

"I can't help it, I like my cocktails to be a little sweet, a little fruity, and not too strong. Stoli Crushed is the perfect addition to any Summer cocktail. The Stoli vodka is mixed with real pineapple and grapefruit juices to provide a refreshing taste that is surprisingly not syrupy. Each flavor is good on its own, but the real magic happens when you mix them together and add a splash of club soda!" — HP

Bibigo Gochujang Mayo Sauce

Bibigo Gochujang Mayo Sauce

"Whether you use it as a spread for sandwiches or a dipping sauce for vegetables (roasted cauliflower and potatoes are my favorite pairings), Bibigo Gochujang Mayo Sauce ($4) is a surefire way to add savory depth and a just-right dose of spice." — NP

Underwood Wines in a Can

Underwood Wines in a Can

"Like any good millennial, I love to drink wine. The catch? I can't always justify buying an entire bottle of wine that I know I won't be able to finish by myself. Enter Underwood Wines in a Can ($28 for four), my new Summer obsession. The Rosé Bubbles flavor is light and refreshing (not to mention the perfect shade of millennial pink). I'll be tossing back cans of this wine during outdoor movie screenings and lazy pool days for months to come." – ML

4505 Chicharrones Jalapeño Cheddar

4505 Chicharrones Jalapeño Cheddar

"My boyfriend follows a low-carb diet most of the time, so I've tried a lot of jerky, meat sticks, and chicharrones. My favorite thus far: 4505 Chicharrones Jalapeño Cheddar ($18 for four). Airy and light, with a light dusting of spicy, cheesy goodness, this is one snack we can both get into." — NP

Nespresso On Ice

Nespresso On Ice

"I always prefer iced coffee during the warmer months, so when Nespresso came out with its limited edition over-ice capsules, I immediately fell in love with them. Both the Intenso On Ice (full-bodied with roasted flavors) and Leggero On Ice (subtle and citrus-y) were specially crafted to be brewed over ice. It's a refreshing change to my morning espresso, and I'm definitely replacing my non-ice capsules with these for the rest of the season!" — Nicole Yi, assistant editor, Love & Sex and Smart Living
