What's New in Food This June

"Williams Sonoma teamed up with San Francisco-based Humphry Slocombe ice cream to create a series of ice cream starters ($13 each) that just require half-and-half, heavy cream, and of course an ice cream maker. "I would not be where I am today without Starry Kitchen. Husband and wife duo Nguyen and Thi Tran didn't realize that they were starting the birth of a movement in Los Angeles when they created one of the biggest and most infamous illegal pop-up restaurants out of their apartment. The whole collection is inspired by beautiful places around the world, and it includes tea and teaware. "These gluten-free, 100 percent whole-grain brown rice chips might be a healthier alternative than other snacks out there, but all I know is ever since our office tried Rise Buddy ($18 for 12 bags) snacks, we crave them! "There's a new line of tequila-infused candy from Sugarfina, the always-trendy, California-based candy boutique that introduced Rosé gummy bears last year, and it is SO good. The Casamigos collection includes three different kinds of alcohol-infused candy (both gummies and chocolate, $9 each) that will satisfy your sweet tooth and just might get you buzzed. I tried each flavor (Shake Your Margarita, Paloma Por Favor, and Give It a Shot), and each one really does taste like a smooth, satisfying tequila cocktail that goes down easy. This comes as no surprise since Casamigos is George Clooney's tequila brand, which is bound to be a good one. Watch out for the Give It a Shot chocolates — they pop in your mouth and reveal a burst of tequila that might get you tipsy after a few!" — EC

"If not having enough time or energy for meal prep and planning is what's getting in between you and a satisfying breakfast, Daily Harvest's new line of frozen chia puddings and overnight oats may be the perfect solution. Shipped to your doorstep on dry ice, these individually portioned breakfasts are packed with on-trend ingredients like pea protein, reishi mushroom, and turmeric and are ready to eat after an overnight thaw in the fridge with some nut milk. "This Miracle Stainless Steel 360° Sippy Cup by Munchkin ($15) might be for kids, but that doesn't mean it's not already a staple in my prenatal yoga bag! The 360-degree edge makes it super convenient to drink from any side of the cup, but it's also nice that you don't have to worry about opening and closing the top, because it automatically seals when you stop drinking, perfect for this clumsy mama-to-be. Plus it keeps beverages cold for 15 hours. This may have been a baby shower gift for my future baby, but I'm getting plenty of use out of it now and see a lot more in my future . . . as a sippy wine cup!" — BLM

"Adam Levine and Sammy Hagar have started their own alcohol brand dubbed the 'world's first mezquila,' a blend of tequila and mezcal. I was skeptical at first, especially since tequila is technically a mezcal, so the statement doesn't completely make sense. However, when I did finally give Santo Puro Mezquila ($55) a sip, I was pleasantly surprised. It pairs really well with some blood orange, jalapeño, and my favorite Ancho Reyes. So next time you see it on the bar, give it a try!" — NI

"Ever since I discovered these Stasher Bags ($12), I've stopped purchasing plastic storage bags and plasticware. Seriously. Made of pure platinum food-grade silicone, these reusable bags can go from the refrigerator to the freezer to the microwave and dishwasher. Game changer! "I always prefer iced coffee during the warmer months, so when Nespresso came out with its limited edition over-ice capsules, I immediately fell in love with them. Both the Intenso On Ice (full-bodied with roasted flavors) and Leggero On Ice (subtle and citrus-y) were specially crafted to be brewed over ice.
