The blazing Summer heat comes in full force, meaning one very important thing: it's the perfect excuse to eat more ice cream and popsicles than usual. We've tried just about every dang thing in the freezer section of TJ's, and so it comes with great confidence that we present some of the best items in that section. Don't see your fave item on the list? Tell us in the comments so we can add it in and share the sweet knowledge with everyone!

Mango Sorbet Bon Bons With Dark Chocolate Coating ($4)

Do yourself a favor and get these chocolate-covered mango sorbet bonbons. The slight bitterness of the thin dark chocolate coating is the ultimate match for the sweet, cold sorbet center. "The perfect sweet treat with a twist" and "OMG so delicious" are just a couple of our taste testers' thoughts. If you love Trader Joe's Gone Bananas, you're sure to love these too.

Coffee Mochi ($3)

Coffee Mochi ($3)

Trader Joe's has long carried beloved mochi ice cream flavors like green tea and strawberry, but it has never had a Coffee Mochi until now. Not only is the coffee-infused ice cream guaranteed to delight any espresso addict, but it also comes with a major perk: it's dairy-free. As someone who has an unmatched hatred of milk and love of coffee, I greatly appreciate this, and it makes the saucy mocha center that much sweeter.

Organic Vanilla Fudge Chip Ice Cream ($3)

Organic Vanilla Fudge Chip Ice Cream ($3)

Sometimes simple is better, and this ice cream is proof. A creamy organic vanilla ice cream that's filled with the perfect ratio of chocolate chips ā€” I mean, really, what more could you ask for in a dessert? This ice cream is dangerously good.

Brownie Coffee Crisp Ice Cream Sandwiches ($4)

Brownie Coffee Crisp Ice Cream Sandwiches ($4)

If there's one new thing you try from Trader Joe's, make it the Brownie Crisp Coffee Ice Cream Sandwiches. The square-shaped ice cream sandwiches have coffee ice cream flecked with finely ground espresso beans sandwiched between two thin brownie crisps that are studded with chocolate chips and chocolate chunks. Just bitter enough from the espresso flavor and plenty sweet enough from the brownie and chocolate, each sandwich satisfies all your cravings for something cool and creamy (and it just might give you a caffeine boost, too).

Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream ($5)

Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream ($5)

The Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream tastes like the authentic stuff you're served in Japanese restaurants, and that's because it's made with real matcha green tea. As a bonus, the ice cream has a sort of gooey consistency, like marshmallows, thanks to the addition of tapioca syrup. I can't wait to try a matcha tea Ć  la mode (or would you call it matcha affogato?) by scooping some of this on top of a mug full of hot matcha tea.

Gone Bananas ($2)

An oldie but a goodie, these frozen chocolate-covered bananas are ridiculously addictive. They are completely dairy-free, but the creamy texture of the frozen banana will make you think otherwise!

Strawberry ice cream in a mochi wrapper? There's just too much excellence contained in one bite.

Cold Brew Latte Dessert Bars ($2)

Cold Brew Latte Dessert Bars ($2)

Not only does warmer weather mean it's time to switch to iced coffee, but it also means it's time to stock up on popsicles. Trader Joe's Cold Brew Latte Dessert Bars give you the best of both worlds: you can get your caffeine fix while snacking on a frozen treat, too. Not overly sweetened like other coffee pops we've had, these are equal parts sweet and bitter, with a strong espresso-forward flavor.

Mudd Pie ($6)

Mudd Pie ($6)

The Mudd Pie, inspired by the Mississippi mud pie, is layered with coffee ice cream and a chocolate crust and topped with fudge swirls. It's sweet, decadent, and quite the dessert. This is not your grandmother's pie!

Frozen Mango Chunks ($3)

Frozen Mango Chunks ($3)

Sure, the frozen Mango Chunks make a great smoothie ingredient, but have you ever tried snacking on them solo, like mini popsicles? It's heaven on a hot day.
