We're Not Sure If Disney's Rainbow Ice Cream Is For Eating or Putting in an Art Gallery

Shaved ice. Soft serve. Candy. All good things on their own, but even better combined! Luckily, this ultra-Instagrammable dessert from Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea checks all of the boxes. Available for only a month every Summer during the Tanabata Days ("Star Festival") celebration, Cream Shaved Ice is a rainbow-colored frozen delight that is almost as much of a treat for the eyes as it is for your tastebuds.

The base of the dessert drink is shaved ice flavored with either peach or a "blue jelly," which reportedly tastes like a fruity soda. On top of the ice is a soft serve ice cream, then rainbow-colored creme candy balls. If you're lucky enough to attend Tanabata Days and enjoy this limited-time menu item for yourself, you can find it at Rackety's Raccoon Saloon behind Space Mountain and at other eateries throughout the Tokyo Disney resort.

Yum! We're not sure whether we want to eat one or hang a photo on our gallery wall, but suffice it to say that the Cream Shaved Ice is enough to tempt us into a Tokyo trip next June. In the meantime, we'll be drooling over these ridiculously colorful photos of the treat!
