I just made an upside-down “turon” tart. 🫣 Turon, a traditional snack in the Philippines, is a combination of sliced banana (preferably Saba), Jackfruit, and brown sugar. These are then wrapped in a spring roll and fried. - Puff pastry squares - Saba banana thinly sliced - Jackfruit thinly sliced - Brown sugar - Honey - Cinnamon 1. On a parchment paper or Silicon mat, drizzle some honey, and top it with jackfruit sliced followed by banana slices. 2. Dust it with sugar and cinnamon and cover it with puff pastry 3. Brush it with egg wash and bake in a 180c pre-heated oven for 12-15 minutes. 4.
