Wendy's Answer to the PSL? Introducing the Pumpkin Spice Frosty

Pumpkin spice season has arrived, and yet it's still summer. That's why Wendy's is paying homage to both seasons with the release of its new Pumpkin Spice Frosty. Beginning Sept. 12, the fast-food chain will unveil the PSL-inspired ice cream alongside a new Pumpkin Spice Frosty Cream Cold Brew. Like the beloved pumpkin spice latte responsible for countless cinnamon-sugar spikes every autumn, the creamy new soft serve features hints of pumpkin and classic fall spices, including cinnamon and nutmeg. The autumnal flavor palette might not make the best dip for french fries, but it absolutely has our taste buds buzzing.

"We can't wait for our fans to get their hands on this new go-to sweet treat this fall," a representative for Wendy's said in a press release. In addition to the Frosty, the fast-food chain is also releasing a new Pumpkin Spice Frosty Cream Cold Brew, which combines cold-brewed coffee with Frosty creamer and pumpkin spice flavoring. "We took the iconic pumpkin spice flavor that fans look forward to every year and blended it with our tried-and-true Frosty creamer, for a fall experience fans can't find anywhere else," a second Wendy's representative added.

Between the bittersweet "Wednesday" cold brew at Starbucks and TikTok's gooey s'mores cookies, there's no shortage of treats to enjoy as we transition from summer into fall. While apple cider and hot chocolate will always hold a special place in our hearts this time of year, you can absolutely catch us ordering a Pumpkin Spice Frosty at the drive-thru this season.
