Ikea Just Opened Its Biggest Store Ever in the US, and Shoppers Are Losing Their Minds

Pack your bags, Ikea-lovers, because our favorite Swedish retailer just opened its biggest store ever in the United States, and we promise you, it's worth the hype. Located in the heart of Burbank, CA, the massive store is being deemed "bigger and more convenient than ever," filled with your favorite collections and almost 10,000 products. Ikea Burbank has a 600-seat restaurant for all those Swedish-meatball-craving shoppers out there and also offered a ton of perks for the store's opening on Feb. 8.

According to the website, the first 26 shoppers received a free Landskrona Sofa ($799), the next 100 visitors received a free Poang Armchair ($109), and many more recieved perks that can definitely explain the massive line ahead of the store's opening. The store spreads across an enormous 456,000 square feet and is reportedly almost TWICE the size of the original Burbank location. Curbed LA notes that there are 50 room settings filled with dreamy furniture.
