Kings of Leon Musician's Nashville Home
This Kings of Leon Rocker's Family Home Is Just as Cool as You'd Expect
You'd expect the home of Kings of Leon's Nathan Followill and his musician/songwriter wife, Jessie Baylin, to be hip, but the sprawling, '70s-era pad they share with their young daughter, Violet, is that and much more. Nestled in a lush plot of land in Nashville, the five-bedroom home was built by famed architect Robert Anderson and remodeled by Nashville architect Steve Durden. At first sight, it's understandable why Baylin wanted to buy it ASAP. She even convinced Followill to make an offer before he could see it in person (thank goodness for cell phone cameras!). The musical couple brought designer Benjamin Vandiver on board to mesh their vintage-loving, rock 'n' roll aesthetic with the home's clean midcentury lines. The result is a sharply stylish but comfortable home fit for a young family.
