After moving into my new apartment, one of the most important things on my furniture-shopping wish list was a kitchen table. Not only because it would tie my large living space together, but also because I spend most of my days working from it, so it's a necessity.

There's one that had been on my wish list for a long time, so it was pretty much immediate that I knew it was the one. I love Floyd furniture for many reasons, mostly for their cool and functional designs that have a minimal element to them that just speak to me. Naturally, its bestselling table was next on my wish list from the brand. It comes in a number of wood and metal finishes, in both a round and rectangle shape. I chose the round option in birch wood with white legs. The style fits perfectly into my neutral-colored space.

It arrived in just a few days, and the best part: I put it together in less than five minutes without any tools. All you do is screw the legs into the bottom in predrilled holes, and it's ready to go. The design is throughly thought out and smart. It looks good, feels sturdy, and is just truly a winner all around in my book. I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone I know. Keep reading to see me build mine quickly, and shop some of its most popular configurations.

How to Build the Floyd Table

As you can see, it took my roommate and me less than five minutes to build it. You simply use the custom screws that twist right into the legs and premade holes. It was easy and fast, and the best part: no tools required!

If you're looking for a longer silhouette, then you can get the Floyd Rectangle Table in Birch Wood and White ($625). The best thing about this shape is that it can be used as a dining table or as a desk.

Floyd Rectangle Table in Walnut Wood and Black

If you're looking for a darker finish, then you can get the Floyd Rectangle Table in Walnut Wood and Black ($675). The brand's popular walnut finish looks so elegant in person and double its price.

Floyd Round Table in Blush and White

The brand doesn't start at just dark and light wood choices. It also has two more colorful choices: blush, a very light pink, and fog, a very light gray. You can see the cool Floyd Round Table in Blush and White ($595) here.
