Connecticut Field Pumpkin
Connecticut field pumpkins are probably the best known pumpkins in the world, and they're typically the kind you pick out at the grocery store or pumpkin patch in the Fall. They're also one of the oldest type of pumpkin in the world, with Native Americans growing them pre-Columbus. They typically weigh around 20 pounds and are great for carving and pumpkin pies.
