The Mexicana ruled the world this year, from the continued success of her executive-produced Lifetime’s Devious Maids to the upcoming sure-to-be-hilarious comedy Telenovela on NBC (which Eva’s producing and starring in!). But not only that. She made the rounds to promote the Eva Longoria Foundation (which helps Latinas get educated and build businesses), spoke to students at Oxford University, and brainstormed how to take over the planet with fellow boss lady Victoria Beckham. (And, of course, there the time she shut down a hater who claimed she doesn’t actually need glasses.) Eva Longoria for president!

As 2015 comes to a close, we’re grateful to have America Ferrera back on the small screen in the hilarious new sitcom Superstore on NBC. But we’re even more grateful for all the work she’s done this year on behalf of both Latinos and women, speaking up about diversity on television, encouraging Latinos to vote, and penning Donald Trump’s despicable comments about Latinos. America, thank you for fighting for a better America!

The Colombian Modern Family actress invited us on her wedding-planning ride via Instagram all year long, as we followed along for peeks at her massive engagement ring and lots of cake tastings. And then finally, the big day came, and it was truly a fairy tale, filled with a stunning flower-filled altar, multiple gown changes, and a fun-filled reception that lasted until 6 a.m. We’re so happy Sofia found happiness — as for us, we’ll be pinning every single photo to our secret wedding boards.

This year the group — which is made up of three Latinas, Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke Hernandez, and Lauren Jauregui, in addition to Normani Kordei and Dinah Jane — released their debut album, Reflection; hit the road for a major tour; and covered Latina Magazine. We haven’t seen that much girl-power domination from a girl group since the Spice Girls! Bosses, indeed.

Of course overall life goals had to go to the Puerto Rican princess herself, Jenny from the block. She kicked off 2015 by ruling box offices across the country with her sexy thriller Boy Next Door, then proceeded through the year by slaying in every. single. outfit. And then she filmed her new CBS series Shades of Blue and stole the show as host of the American Music Awards — all while keeping up with 7-year-old twins Max and Emme. A triple threat in entertainment, a style superstar, and a role-model-worthy mom? We want to be just like J Lo when we grow up.
