Selena Gomez Has a New Song, and It's Not What We Expected

After Instagram teases of new projects (including her new job as Pantene brand ambassador) and an announcement that a new song was finally coming our way on June 22, Selena Gomez has kept her promise and released her new single, "Good For You." The track is part of Selena's new album, which still has no release date — her last record, For You, was a compilation of her best tracks, so we haven't had a full release from the singer since Stars Dance in 2013. The sexy ballad, which is closer in sound to the emotional "The Heart Wants What It Wants" than pop hit "Come & Get It," features rapper A$AP Rocky and talks about wanting to look hot for a guy. When Selena talked about wanting to take back her name and show the world "the truth," she wasn't kidding. Her new single definitely took us by surprise.
