27 English Words You Probably Use When Speaking Spanish

If you speak Spanish or have tried to learn it, then you know there are so many freaking words! But although the language has a vast (endless, it seems) array of terms and phrases that mean the same thing and a few special words that have no translation, I recently noticed I tend to borrow a handful of English words here and there. I ask a friend, for example, to please put a "hot dog" on the grill for me and say I have nothing to wear in my "closet." It turns out, I'm not alone! After polling friends, family, and editors, I came up with 27 English words commonly used in Spanish — some of these will actually shock you.
