"I think this is my favorite song. I hear it and I love it. I love to perform it. This is the only song I didn't write! Lil' Eddie, he's a songwriter, a really good friend of mine. He sent me this song. It was just called 'Rest of Your Life,' and it was an English version. I was in Cancun with my family for New Year's, two or three years ago. We had released 'Muévelo,' and it was doing so well. But then we needed a second single. We were struggling with that. Time was passing and passing, and we didn't have a second single and we didn't know what to do.
"So Lil' Eddie sent me this song, and I fell in love. I was like, 'This is it, this is the song!' So, I remember I was in Cancun and my parents were swimming with dolphins, and I was just sitting inside writing it in Spanish. It was so much fun. Not many people know that we didn't have a second single and we didn't know what to do for a while."
