Aquarius is the sign of friendship, so friends are just as important as lovers. You probably have a circle of eclectic buds and may belong to one or more groups who share your interests. "This year Jupiter's positive influence will likely expand your connections with other people, perhaps as a result of traveling — 2019 is a good year to take a trip with a tour group to a foreign country, particularly in March or November," Skye said. Uranus could also change a relationship or let you see someone in a new light. "Be careful not to let strong opinions cause arguments or upsets with friends when Mars sparks controversy in March, July, and December," she cautioned.

"Gentle, imaginative Pisceans enjoy the company of artists, musicians, and other creative types. You need friends who are supportive of you, but sometimes let people you care about take advantage of you — which could happen in 2019, when Neptune in your sign exaggerates your idealism," Skye said. This year Jupiter's excessive and expansive energy could bring people into your orbit who may not be good for you, so watch out. "A favorable contact with Saturn, however, can help you use discretion and stand your ground," she said. Male friends could also be assets in June, September, and December.

Aries people enjoy friendships that involve a lot of activity, fun and games, and adventure. Taurus people are loyal and reliable; they seek stable, long-term friendships and may remain close to childhood pals throughout their lives. "This year a favorable contact from Saturn could reconnect you with an old friend or strengthen a relationship with someone from your past," Skye said. Yet, be careful. "Tension or disagreements might crop up in mid-February, March, July, and mid-August — fortunately, you're usually pretty easy-going, but stressful influences from Mars and Uranus could test your ability to be flexible and open-minded," she said.

"Sociable Geminis usually have plenty of friends, and this year Jupiter's expansive energy could bring even more into your network — especially in March, June, and the Fall when Venus highlights your attractiveness," Skye said. Use a bit of discrimination, however, and opt for quality rather than quantity. You enjoy sharing ideas and information with other people and are rarely at a loss for words, but be careful not to gossip or spread untruths during March, July, and November, when Mercury (your ruling planet) is in retrograde, which can cause misunderstandings with people, she warned.

Cancers are protective toward their friends and prefer close, supportive relationships, where they feel emotionally secure. "This year Saturn may present some challenges with friends, perhaps resulting in a cooling or distancing between you," Skye warned. Try not to take offense too quickly and work to let go of grudges. "It's also possible that you'll be asked to provide help or extra care to a friend in need. Uranus could bring someone new into your orbit or change a friendship in a positive way during 2019," she said. Plan social events in April, July, and October when Venus inspires happy interactions and fun, as well.

Leos attract friends who are drawn to their colorful, outgoing personality, and they're probably seen as the leader or the "star" of the group. "This year good vibes from Jupiter could increase your popularity and bring even more admirers into your circle," she said. Good news! Yet, "Saturn, however, reminds you not to let this go to your head — share the spotlight. August is likely to be a busy time for you, when the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars are all in your sign — this could be a good time to go on vacation with friends or visit someone who lives far away," she added.

Congenial Libras make friends easily and enjoy social activities of all kinds. "Jupiter's positive influence in 2019 may spark opportunities to expand your horizons and share pleasant occasions with friends, especially during January, June, and September when Venus (your ruling planet) sends good energy your way," Skye said. Yet, there are some lows. "Stressful contacts with Saturn and Pluto, however, may bring tests that limit or strain a friendship. "Scorpios are private people who only let a few individuals get close to them. You may also reconnect with someone from your past or develop a friendship through a work-related situation in 2019. "Mars could stir up stress or conflicts with a friend or acquaintance in March, July, or December — try not to let differences, jealousy, or suspicion drive a wedge between you," she cautioned.

Fun-loving and gregarious Sagittarians enjoy going places, playing sports, and having adventures with friends.
