Every Single Guest Dressed in a Totally Tubular Costume at This '80s-Themed Wedding

The '80s were an iconic time in pop culture and fashion. Some of our favorites from the era are even making their way back, whether it's shows like Punky Brewster getting a sequel or statement earrings coming back in fashion. Well, Samantha and John definitely got the memo when they threw their spectacular '80s-themed wedding in 2018 — it was totally bitchin'!

"From Miami Vice to Gremlins and Guns N' Roses, this wedding pulled out all of the stops," said Samantha, who founded EVL Events and planned her own wedding. The couple married at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ellicottville, NY, in a gorgeous ceremony that was full of color. Samantha looked rad and radiant in a short white gown with neon pink shoes (covered in Lisa Frank stickers) that matched her fingerless gloves and starry earrings. John coordinated his look by wearing a white suite with a pink shirt underneath and the coolest fanny pack, naturally.

The day was jam-packed with iconic '80s references: Lite-Brite signs, a cassette-tape cake stand, Hi-C on tap, a life-size Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, a laser photobooth backdrop, and retro games everywhere. The flower girl even walked down the aisle throwing petals from a Rubik's-cube bag. And the best part? All the guests were in full '80s-themed costumes. It looked so cool — see for yourself, and keep an eye out for all the '80s details!
