Barbie and Ken Get Married!

We've been waiting for this for what seems like a lifetime! Barbara Millicent Roberts and her boyfriend, Ken Carson, have had a rocky relationship since they began dating in 1961. But after a breakup in 2004 (and Barbie's brief fling with Aussie surfer Blaine), they are back together and finally tying the knot!
French photographer Béatrice de Guigné had the fun and hilarious idea to shoot Barbie and Ken's wedding in the same way she'd shoot a wedding between two people. So the same setups we've seen on our favorite wedding blogs are re-created here in plastic! Béatrice explains the scene to Rock n Roll Bride as this:
"Barbie & Ken were married at Faraway Castle, in Plasticity. The bride bought her dress from The Fairy Godmother shop and her shoes from the Cinderella Store. The groom wore a suit from The Prince Charming Emporium. The couple met more than 50 years ago (yes I know they look young). Barbie was tired of waiting so she asked Ken to get married."
