OK, so Geppetto isn't technically Pinocchio's dad, but he is his creator and treats Pinocchio just like a son. Despite what Pinocchio puts him through, Gepetto chooses to feel love over anger. For Pinocchio being a puppet come to life, Gepetto's love for him is nothing but real.
