Photographer Trina Cary doesn't have any children of her own yet but knows she definitely will one day, so in the meantime, she's busy snapping the most stunning photos of other mothers with their babies. Her latest project, a breastfeeding session on the beach during a full moon, is so gorgeous that you'll want to scratch the definition of "beauty" out of your dictionary and replace it with these photographs.
Taken on Kawana Beach on the Sunshine Coast of Australia, the photos feature 14 women — many who were complete strangers — who came to the shoot with their babies in tow on the evening of March 2, the sky littered with storm clouds and the full moon's glow. "Every time I get a group together I am floored by their ability to befriend and accept one another so freely. I just LOVE being a part of it," Trina told POPSUGAR. "My goal is to empower and spread love throughout this world. We need less judgment and more acceptance."

This particular shoot also felt important to Trina because of all the mothers' differences coming together in the name of breastfeeding their children. "I was absolutely ecstatic to see these mothers breastfeeding — and not just newborns, there were a variety of ages, a couple 18 months and above — and to hear their journeys, and realize for some of them it wasn't an easy one," she said.
Because of the success of this shoot, Trina already has a few more breastfeeding sessions in the works and would love to do a photo shoot featuring bottle-fed babies as well.
"I hope when women see these images they smile and laugh, I hope they can feel the love that is radiating through these women. Strangers that became friends through supporting and encouraging each other in one evening of feeding their little ones together," she said. "I want the women in this world to come together. I want to create a powerful, raw, open, and loving community in my photography business. If I can help women learn to love their stretch marks, extra skin, lumps and bumps, I will!"
