Lego Is Making Building Sets For Adults, and We Can Feel Our Stress Melting Away
After working all day in your office or running around like a crazy person ensuring your kiddos get to every soccer practice, flute lesson, or choir rehearsal, sometimes mom and dad need to take a load off. But rather than reaching for that late-night glass of Pinot Noir or queuing up Netflix, Lego has another option for parents who need to veg out: just-for-adults building sets.
According to Indiegogo, the kits will be part of the brand new Lego Forma line, which aims to help stressed out adults unwind at the end of a busy day. Lego's senior marketing manager Kari Vinther Nielsen said, "Inside each of us there's a fundamental desire to be creative and a unique need to use our hands. When we reflected on those needs, we recognized there's an inherent relaxation that comes from these activities."
The Forma sets comes in Koi, Shark, or Splash Koi models, or you can go your own route by creating a customizable Ink Koi Skin. There will also be a mega box that contains all four model options for Lego-obsessed adults. Read through to get a look at these incredible 294-piece sets that will ready to ship in the US in January 2019.
