20 New Attractions Coming to Disneyland in 2019 That'll Make You Book a Trip ASAP

Mickey and Minnie Mouse are 90 years old, and there's a celebration happening at Disneyland in their honor starting in January 2019! Guests will find new entertainment plus limited-time decor, specialty foods, and merchandise throughout Disneyland Resort.

A new nighttime entertainment show is going to light up Disneyland's skies starting Jan. 18, 2018. "Mickey's Mix Magic" is going to be shown nightly, with state-of-the-art projections, lighting, and lasers to celebrate Mickey Mouse. The show is going to be enhanced with additional fireworks on select nights.

From Jan. 25 to Feb. 17, Disneyland will bring in Lunar New Year and the year of the pig. Guests can celebrate with limited-time entertainment, like Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession. There will also be kid-friendly activities and an abundance of Asian food.

Disneyland After Dark is coming back in 2019 with Sweethearts' Nite on Feb. 7, 2019. This separate ticketed event will bring guests into a fairy tale romance with access to rare characters, entertainment, themed food and beverage, attractions, and more.

Disneyland After Dark is also going to be celebrating the '90s on March 7, 2019, which will allow guests to have access to fireworks, entertainment, character greetings, complimentary keepsakes, and more.

Starting March 1 through April 23, 2019, guests can experience the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. The event will have more than a dozen festival marketplaces that will feature small plates, specialty wine, and craft beer, which will showcase the best of California cuisine. Guests can also expect celebrity chef appearances and cooking demonstrations.

One of the biggest single-land expansions in Disneyland history is opening in Summer 2019. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is where guests can live their own adventure at Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. This new land will include two new attractions and a new restaurant.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will take guests on a battle between the First Order, including a face-off with Kylo Ren. This is one of two new E-ticket attractions coming to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

If you're looking to make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, be sure to ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. This new attraction will let guests take the controls in one of three roles aboard the Millennium Falcon.

Pixar Pier is getting two new family-friendly attractions in 2019. Jessie's Critter Carousel is a newly reimagined attraction that will feature Toy Story pal Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl and all of her animal friends.

The Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind will also open at Pixar Pier in 2019. This attraction will be located within Inside Out Headquarters on the western end of the pier.

Vampirina is going to be at the Disney Junior Dance Party starting Feb. 1, 2019. The show will feature music and popular Disney pals.

Opening in late 2018, Tropical Hideaway will be serving guests near The Jungle Cruise at Disneyland. This new dining location will serve a variety of food and beverage, including Spiced Vegetable Bao, Kaffir Lime Chicken Bao, and Bulgogi Beef Bao.

In early 2019, the Disneyland Hotel is set to reopen Tangoroa Terrace, Tropical Bar and Grill. Guests will find beautiful outdoor seating and live music in the evenings.

Ralph Breaks VR is newly opened at The Void in the Downtown Disney District. Guests will go into the internet with Wreck It Ralph and Venellope Von Schweetz, where they'll encounter new friends and foes along the way.

Ballast Point brewery is opening in early 2019 in the Downtown Disney District. This new dining option is going to bring guests into a 7,000-square-foot, family-friendly space, and will be Downtown Disney District's first-ever onsite brewery!

Halloween Time at Disneyland will bring the spooky season back to life starting September 2019. Guests will find festive decorations, specialty treats, and attraction overlays, like Haunted Mansion Holiday.

Starting November 2019, Disneyland will start celebrating the most magical season of the year. Disneyland holiday will bring beautiful decorations and special entertainment throughout the resort.
