Barack Obama Looking Back at Inauguration Crowd

If You Feel Like Crying, Watch This Moment From Obama's Inauguration That's Going Viral Again

As Barack Obama prepares to leave office following Donald Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20, many are reflecting on his presidency and its many moving and historically significant moments. One moment in particular is currently making the internet tear up. As he was leaving his second inauguration in 2013, Obama was seen pausing at the exit of the Capitol to look back at the crowd and take in the scene. He then explained to those around him, "I want to take a look one more time. I'm not going to see this again."

Though his intimate expression was widely covered at the time, it is going viral yet again after a user shared it on Imgur with the caption, "Just a reminder that this happened. A genuine public servant and I'll be sad to see you go." It has since garnered over 300,000 views. Refer to the 19-second mark in the video above to see the emotional moment.
