No Joke: This Moroccan TV Channel Aired a Tutorial on How to Hide Domestic Abuse Bruises
After airing a segment teaching domestic violence victims how to cover up their bruises with makeup last week, a Moroccan TV channel has expressed regret over the broadcast. The footage has also been removed by Channel 2M, but it's still accessible on social media.

In the video, a feature on a show called Sabahiyat, the host demonstrates how victims can hide their bruises — making the appearance "disappear."
Since airing, Facebook and Twitter users have widely criticized the show and its host. Instead of condemning the abuser, as the many critics of the segment suggested, the host said, "We hope these tips will help you carry on with your daily life."
The backlash forced the channel to apologize, posting to Facebook that it offers "its sincerest apologies for this error of judgement."
