Oprah Winfrey Endorses Hillary Clinton With Some Powerful Words

On Wednesday night, Oprah Winfrey endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying she's "with her."

"Regardless of your politics, it's a seminal moment for women," said Winfrey, referring to Clinton being the first presumptive female nominee. "What this says is, there is no ceiling, that ceiling just went boom! It says anything is possible when you can be leader of the free world."

Winfrey restated her position on Good Morning America.

The two powerful women have known each other for a while — Clinton appeared on Winfrey's talk show in the 1990s as first lady and the two posed together at the 2005 Emmys (pictured above), although Winfrey endorsed President Obama instead of Clinton when the two ran against each other in 2008.
