  • Donald Trump and UK Prime Minister Theresa May held a press conference to discuss their meeting on Friday. Trump was particularly proud to greet May in front of Winston Churchill's bust, which he put back in the Oval Office after President Barack Obama had it moved. According to May, she has a "special relationship" with Trump and both leaders reiterated the close tie between the UK and the US. Before the meeting, the White House had misspelled May's name three times in a release.
  • Missy Elliott is making a comeback with a new song and video called "I'm Better." Elliott released the song on Friday and it's already climbing the iTunes charts. Fans are also obsessing over the video, which was shot by her longtime collaborator, director Dave Meyers.
  • During a so-called rare interview with The New York Times on Thursday, Trump's Senior Advisor Steve Bannon castigated the media and described the press as "the opposition." Bannon also had a controversial request for the press, saying it should "keep its mouth shut."
  • The woman who accused Emmett Till of groping her outside a store in Mississippi in 1955 said she made it up. Carolyn Donham spoke to an author for the first time and recanted her testimony claiming he physically assaulted her. Timothy Tyson, who authored the book titled The Blood of Emmett Till, spoke with Donham about the trial for the men who brutally murdered Till after they witnessed him allegedly whistle at Donham. She confirmed to Tyson that she fabricated the portion of testimony claiming that Till had groped her but did not remember if he whistled at her.
  • Elton John will help write a musical based on the beloved book The Devil Wears Prada. The icon joins a team of playwright Paul Rudnick and producer Kevin McCollum to adapt Lauren Weisberger's novel. This is not the first time John has ventured into musicals, as he also composed The Lion King.
