- Tim Kaine and Mike Pence battled it out in Farmville, VA, last night for the first and only vice presidential debate. Informal polls show that Pence seemed more comfortable and played the VP role better, whereas Kaine appeared to be on the attack too often. However, Kaine effectively called out Donald Trump's lies, which Pence denied.
- Disney fans will be happy to know the company is creating a live-action remake of Mulan. The new version of the 1998 hit will make its way to theaters in November 2018 and will be shown in 3D. Producers are currently looking for a Chinese actress to play the lead.
- The governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley, declared a state of emergency before Hurricane Matthew makes landfall today. After barreling through Haiti and Cuba, the category three hurricane is expected to hit the East Coast on Friday.
- Kid Cudi entered rehab today for depression and suicidal urges. The rapper told fans, "Anxiety and depression have ruled my life for as long as I can remember." Despite the news, Cudi's new album is still expected to be released soon.
