Please welcome the real Sen. Elizabeth Warren to Saturday Night Live! The Massachusetts politician and former presidential hopeful stopped by the NBC sketch comedy show on March 7 in a surprise cold-open appearance. Although the skit focuses on news coverage of the coronavirus, you can skip ahead to 6:50 to see Warren steal the show.
"I'm doing just fine," Warren says in reference to her dropping out of the 2020 presidential race. "My friends and family have been so supportive. They've been calling nonstop, asking, 'Are you OK?' 'What do you need?' 'Were you electable?'"
Warren is then joined by her onscreen doppelgänger, Kate McKinnon, for the official sign-off. "I wanted to put on my favorite outfit to thank you for all you've done in your lifetime," McKinnon says.
"I'm not dead, I'm just in the Senate," Warren jokes.
