"I've had cats my entire life, so I've seen many different litter boxes in my day. I've also tried out plenty of automatic, self-cleaning litter boxes, which definitely have their pros, don't get me wrong. However, the cleanest, most spacious, and convenient litter box for me has consistently been my Modkat flip, which allows for three different lid positions and comes with liners that can be reused for a long time if you're consistent about cleaning daily.
As great as it is to not have to clean daily when you have an automatic self-cleaner, I will say that I think the smell buildup in the trash gets pretty gnarly, and with a standard box like this, that can be completely avoided.
