The Siamese is one of the best cat breeds and also known for its sleek body, wedge head, colored points, muscular grace, long legs, and slender tail, says Michelle Burch, DVM, a veterinary writer and adviser at Catological. They're also recognizable with their short and silky coat that comes in a variety of colors and deep-blue, almond-shaped, and slant-positioning eyes, she says.
