To bring Eve by Boz — her new hair-care and wig line — to life, Saint John built her own factory in Ghana to manufacture the products, partnered with a woman chemist in LA, and incorporated ingredients from all over Africa. From the naming conventions of the products to the packaging, every aspect was designed with intention. "I was like, you know what? I'm going to do it myself. I'm just going to go ahead and build this empire, and who's going to stop me?" she says.

"I know 40 inches seems like it's super long, and you have to really be about your business in order to wear it because it takes confidence to wear that long of hair," she says. "It's worth the investment because you can always go shorter. But if you buy it too short, you can't go longer — so why not just go long? We go big in everything that we do."
