Apple's New TV App For iPhone and iPad

Apple Announces a New App That Will Change the Way You Watch TV

On Thursday, Oct. 27, Apple unveiled its latest app, aptly titled TV. Aside from adding Twitter interactions to your Apple TV viewing experience, the tech company is bringing TV watching directly to your Apple devices, including your iPad and iPhone. The TV app is designed to be the one place to go for everything you're watching, with a hand-curated collection of your favorite TV shows and movies. You can add shows directly to the Up Next list so you'll never forget which shows you were interested in binge-watching later. The TV app will also allow you to watch live news directly from your phone or tablet.

Siri will be available on the TV app to help you find where to watch your must-see sporting events. Just ask and Siri will locate the proper streaming app for that event. Apple's new TV app will come equipped with a TV guide, all available in the United States for free this December.
