1 Prizm Speaker
Finally, a speaker that understands your soul — literally. The Prizm ($162, pre-order) is a Bluetooth-connected speaker that plays music from all your streaming music accounts. The minute you walk into the room, music will start playing. But, say you skip a song or like to listen to Daft Punk on Sundays — Prizm will learn this information and start anticipating your music needs without you needing to pick it. The real kicker? If your friend walks into your room and is also connected to Prizm, it will play music that both of you like, so no more arguing about playing Britney Spears or not.
2 Parrot Pot
If you're just as guilty of killing too many houseplants as we are, this Parrot pot accessory is your savior. It comes with a hidden ceramic pot that holds two liters of water and releases it through four water spouts. If you thought that was cool, consider that it uses its knowledge of more than 7,000 plants to detect when yours is thirsty and how much water should be released.
3 D-Vine Decanter
Drink the perfect glass of wine with D-Vine ($599). By inserting a tube filled with wine, D-Vine will decant your wine perfectly and serve you a glass at the right temperature. If you want to switch in a new wine, D-Vine has a self-cleaning system so no wine ever mixes with another. Currently, it’s only available in France, Belgium, and the UK, but it hopes to expand to other countries soon.
4 Gesture-Controlled Bixi
Control your devices and apps without touching a smartphone at all thanks to Bixi ($99, available later in 2016). The small device syncs with an app on your phone so you can program eight determined hand gestures — like up, down, left, and right — that mean different actions for certain types of apps. For example, if you're reading an eBook, swiping left or right will turn the page. Use it with all different smart devices for your home, like your thermostat, lights, locks, and even Netflix.
5 LG TWIN Wash System
We never thought we'd be fascinated by a washing machine. LG's new TWIN Wash System has a second washer beneath the main machine, which means you can do two loads at once. That's right — colors and whites or towels and delicates can be tumbled at the same time. It's also connected to WiFi, so you can start your load while you're across town and receive notifications when your clothes are ready for the dryer.
6 Sensorwake Alarm
Wake up peacefully and with dreams of food in your head with Sensorwake ($89, pre-order). It’s an alarm clock that releases a different scent to get you up. Currently, it has seven different ones like coffee, croissant, or toast. If you’re paranoid at all that you won’t wake, you can set a backup alarm.
7 Kube Speaker-Cooler
Throw the ultimate outdoor party with the Kube. It’s a weatherproof, Bluetooth- and WiFi-enabled speaker that also doubles as a cooler. The battery runs for 20 hours and the sound travels up to 500 feet away. It is still in pre-production with no price yet.
8 Family Hub Fridge
Ever look into your refrigerator, see something that's missing, but then completely forget it as soon as you walk away? With the Samsung Family Hub Fridge ($4,999, Spring 2016), not only can you add that to a list on the LCD screen on the fridge, but you can also order groceries directly from the screen. The fridge also has three cameras inside so if you forget something and are at the grocery store, you can easily check to see.
9 Perfect Blend
Create the perfect smoothie with Perfect Blend ($100) by the Perfect Company. The package includes both a scale and an app that lets you know what you need to create a drink. With the app, you’ll find out what speed to use and for how long. It can also let you know what type of drink or soup you can make just by letting it know what ingredients you have.
10 Holi Alarm
Get all the information you need for your day with Holi ($100-$150, pre-order). It’s a smart alarm clock that can alert you to traffic, update you on the weather or your Facebook notifications, and of course wake you. The clock doesn't stop there — it can see if traffic will get in the way of your commute and wake you at an earlier or later time where you can avoid it.
