Free Meal For Beautiful People in China

The Gross Reason This Restaurant Scans Customers' Faces

We'll take the chicken plate served with a side of "ick." A Korean restaurant in Zhengzhou, China, has started a system where it photographs and scans customers' faces before letting "good-looking" people eat for free. The judges? Local plastic surgeons.

Through this "Pay by Face" promotion, the doctors give everyone recommendations on what surgery could make them look better. It's reportedly set to last until mid-February, but, unsurprisingly, many people have called for its end. Authorities even used a crane to remove a sign outside the restaurant promoting the deal.
