Paul Ryan Guinness Pint Meme
The Internet Is Not Impressed With Paul Ryan's Pint of Guinness
![]()
Donald Trump isn't the only one upsetting people on St. Patrick's Day. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has also made the internet and Irish citizens annoyed with his poorly poured pint of Guinness.
The pint, which Ryan held up during a DC Friends of Ireland event, didn't have a lot of head (the foam that appears on top of a beer) and was barely filled to the top. Naomi O'Leary, a reporter for Politico, took a photo of Ryan holding up the beer.

The internet couldn't handle the whole moment.
It looks like pint you find in the smoking area at the end of the night, its owner stumbled home long ago https://t.co/VBTtGcjrWW

Not sure about Pence, but Ryan has definitely given up any chances to be allowed to enter Ireland ever again... https://t.co/1oZxCU83fh

Some wondered if the pint was there for more than a year.
I found my Guinness from last year right where I left it! No one stole it because Guinness is gross. #StPatricksDay pic.twitter.com/olziyb46hn

One person thought it looked a little too much like a Coke.
@NaomiOhReally $5 says he's trying to pass Diet Coke off as Guinness. It's a lepre-con

But really, what's up the head on that pint?
@NaomiOhReally @jwomack Terrible head on both of them.

Try again next year, Ryan, and in the meantime, learn something from Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny and his thoughts on immigration.
