On March 3 around 3 a.m. local time, a volcano erupted in Villarrica in southern Chile. Smoke, ash, and lava filled the air, and around 3,000 people in nearby villages had to be evacuated. The sight was both terrifying and beautiful — one Redditor in Chile posted the picture above, which made it to the front page of the site.
