YouTube Stars Are the New A-Listers

While it might seem that YouTubers live behind their webcams, vlogging's finest get dolled up every year for the biggest Internet award show. The Streamy Awards were held in Beverly Hills on Sept. 7, and bona fide web celebrities such as Michelle Phan, Tyler Oakley, and Jenna Marbles received awards. The entire award show was broadcast online, of course, allowing the truest Internet fans to "attend." According to a new Variety study, YouTubers are now more popular with teens than mainstream Hollywood stars. So it makes sense they had their own award show. Who took home the web's top honors?
