If you haven't heard of Wanelo yet, prepare to bookmark it as one of your favorite sites. The company — which means want, need, love — bills itself as a "digital mall" where users can shop at over 350,000 online stores. There's even a social aspect where you can follow more than 11 million other users.

As great as it is, however, the story of the woman behind it is even better. Back in 2012, Deena Varshavskaya founded the company after emigrating from Siberia at age 16, designing websites, starting a talent video directory, and creating her own design agency. Her love of fashion inspired the idea and has helped the company flourish, even though she started with little funding or tech experience.

These days, Deena heads a 35-person team in San Francisco and was generous enough to curate a wonderful, stylish gift guide for the holidays. Check out her picks ahead, and prepare to be majorly inspired. Source: Deena Varshavskaya

"Fur is all the rage this season! I like the contrast and the geometry of this Azalea faux fur long coat ($185)."

"These unique Love Story tattoos ($26) could be a fun addition to a holiday dress."

"I love the amazing art deco geometry of these Crystalline antique copper pearl earrings ($502). I haven't been able to pull off a lot of long earrings, but I will make an exception for this pair."

"I don't actually take very good care of my tech gadgets, but if I got this Ban.do iPad sleeve ($25), it's just funny enough that I might actually use it."

"A-Morir glasses are incredible works of art and are worn by the likes of Beyoncé and Rihanna. I own a pair and get stopped every time I wear them. Having fun with what I wear is a source of energy for me, and these Siouxsie eyeglasses ($240) are perfect for that."

"I'm glad the world is finally obsessing over fur! This 3.1 Phillip Lim lamb shearling satchel ($1,500) is the ultimate indulgence. My only concern is that I would have to downsize my laptop to fit it inside, since I want one bag to just carry it all."

"I'm obsessed with Fornasetti. I find the style incredibly whimsical, playful, and mysterious. I haven't committed to buying one yet, but I will soon! I'm especially eyeing this jar set ($888) for my closet, which will be perfect since my closet was designed to represent what getting dressed daily means to me — i.e. the ultimate form of play."

"Shona Joy's dresses are gorgeous. They have a strong silhouette, great colorblocking, and a unique contrast of textures. This backless maxi dress ($460) is one of my favorites."

"This antique horn wireless speaker ($549) is just a fun and unique statement piece for the home that can play whatever music you love from your phone!"
