January Jones stepped out for Coach's third annual Evening of Cocktails and Shopping at Bad Robot's headquarters in Santa Monica last night. She made her way through the star-studded party mingling with Chloë Sevigny and Milla Jovovich, as well as a Thakoon-clad Katy Perry, Conan O'Brien, Orlando Bloom and more. Orlando was without his wife, Miranda Kerr, for the charitable night out after she made headlines yesterday for speculation surrounding her contract as a Victoria's Secret Angel. He also stepped out without Miranda for a lunch date with friends earlier in the day.

The annual bash, which benefits the Children's Defense Fund, also brought out stars like Joe Manganiello, who had his girlfriend, model Bridget Peters, with him for the evening out. Other attendees included Kate Mara, who was accompanied by beau Max Minghella, Nikki Reed, and Rosario Dawson, who greeted fellow partygoer Amy Smart with a big hug, and also found time to catch up with Ellen Pompeo.

Later, Rosario, Danny, and Vincent headed to the premiere's afterparty where the actress celebrated the arrival of a pizza delivery by cheering for joy. The cast weren't the only stars who attended the event, with The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus arriving on the arm of Debbie Harry, and Girls stars Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet catching a screening of the new flick.

The premiere comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Rosario and Danny had broken up, although it isn't clear how long the couple had been dating. The two were last seen together when Rosario donned a bikini during a vacation in Barbados back in January. There are rumors that Rosario is moving on with Michael Fassbender after the two were spotted together in London over the weekend.

Add actress Rosario Dawson to the list of celebrities who aren't fans of exercise. "I'm not a big workout kind of person," she told me at a recent Adidas Energy Boost event. But while she may not enjoy the idea of sweating it out, she knows it's just part of the job. I asked the self-described reluctant runner for her strategies to make running her "go-to" workout when she needs to get in shape. Read on for her tips.

  • Focus on the results: Rosario's favorite form of exercise is Pilates, but running is an essential part of her fitness regimen, she says. "I don't love running but it is my go-to if I have to get fit for something. It's [also] really great for singing [because you] get your lungs expanding," she told me. Focusing on how running helps your body feel its best can be the motivation you need to stick to your routine.
  • Run when you travel: Throw a good sports bra and a pair of running shoes into your suitcase, Rosario says, and you're just about good to go. "I try to sneak in things because most of the time when I'm traveling I don't really have time to do anything," she says. That means walking "a lot," taking the stairs when she's going up to her hotel room, and running with a friend in the mornings.
  • Fuel right: It's important to eat the right types of food before a run, Rosario advises, in order to have an effective workout. "[When] you start running you have that immediate burst of energy, but then you hit a pocket," she says. "You want to be able to get to the zone when you're running so you need that energy [from food], which is that backup." Rosario recommends drinking water and eating a mix of carbs and protein at least 20 minutes before a run for sustained energy throughout your workout — and, she jokes, to avoid getting "hangry" during your run.

The worldwide campaigns were instigated by One Billion Rising, an organization that hopes to stop abuse against women. The name refers to the one billion women who have survived abuse and the number of women the organization asks to support them. The worldwide event — called V-Day — celebrated its 15th anniversary yesterday and urges our gender to "walk out, dance, rise up, and demand an end to this violence."
