Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue

Not sure exactly what Charlotte Tilbury puts in her OG Magic Cream, but it's like crack for skin — instantly illuminating, minimizing pores, and creating the ideal hydrated canvas for makeup. And I'm happy to report that the new Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue ($60) has the same wonder-working properties. A rice-size dab of this under-eye rescue made my skin softer, smoother, and brighter.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit in Fair

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit in Fair

I snapped up Anastasia's original powder contour kit when it first came out (and was only available in one shade). I was immediately a huge fan of how the sculpting shades defined my cheeks and jawbone, but was bummed that the highlighting shades completely disappeared on my superpale skin. The brand remedied this with a new cream palette ($40) specifically created for ultrafair-complected ladies like me.

Not only is there a straight-up white highlighter (perfection!), but the gray base of the lightest contouring shade actually looks like a shadow when applied on the skin. This is a welcome change from orange-leaning sculptors, which make me appear dirty.

Thrive Causemetics Infinity Waterproof Brow Liner

Thrive Causemetics Infinity Waterproof Brow Liner

I am a firm believer that your brows can make or break your face, so I am always in pursuit of the best arch-perfecting products for my makeup bag. The Thrive Causmetics Infinity Brow Liner in Audrey ($23) is a hybrid of pencil, powder, and wax, so your hair can stay in place without the use of multiple products. Additionally, the shade is universal. Really — it features buildable smart pigments, which adjust to your hair color, so a perfect match is guaranteed. Even better, for every Thrive Causemetics product purchased, one is donated to a woman going through cancer treatment. As if we needed another reason to shop!

Hand MD Restorative Duo

Hand MD Restorative Duo

With the amount of nail photos I take, I always joke that my hands should be insured. And when taking "nailfies" to show off my latest custom manicure, I know it's not always about the artwork — if my hands look dry or uneven in color, it can make for a less-than-appealing photo. Sure, there are plenty of photo apps you can use to perfect your skin, but I really dig Hand MD Restorative Duo ($50).

What I love about it is that it's a serum, so unlike most hand products that are thick and hard to rub in, this formula feels superluxe yet absorbs easily. The star ingredient is retinol, and much like it does for your face, it helps to tone your hands as well. Plus, using the product has made me more conscious about applying sunscreen to my hands.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Deep Moisture Balm

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Deep Moisture Balm

When I'm travelling — especially to the slopes — I need one hard-working moisturizer to take care of my dry skin needs. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Deep Moisture Balm ($27) is a thick yet nongreasy solution to create a barrier. It contains a new star ingredient — Edelweiss flower extract, which is a super-resilient flower — in addition the staples like Antarcticine and Squalane. The balm works great on elbows and nail beds, too.

Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Firming Serum

Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Firming Serum

The pretty packaging on this powerful serum ($75) instantly caught my eye. Instead of a standard dropper, this Fresh formula is contained in a glass bottle with a rubber nozzle that allows you to carefully mete out the perfect dose. I squeeze out three to five drops for my full face and smooth it over my skin. It dries to a velvety finish and has a unique corset-like effect — you can actually feel it pulling your complexion taut! It's packed with kombucha, lychee seed, and honeysuckle leaf extracts, which all fight free radical damage (one of the primary causes of wrinkles).

Too Faced Melted Chocolate Lipstick in Chocolate Cherries

Too Faced Melted Chocolate Lipstick in Chocolate Cherries

I am rarely ever spotted without a rose or nude pout, so when this vampy berry shade landed on my desk, I didn't think that it would make it to my stash. However, once I uncapped the applicator and raised it to my nose, I was immediately SOLD. The Too Faced Melted Chocolate Lipstick ($21) smells exactly like a warm brownie (yum!). Perhaps even more compelling, the deep burgundy formula glides on and stays on all day, without leaving your lips chapped or dry. It has a semi-matte finish, so you’re left with an indulgent selfie-ready pout.

Frank Body Lip Scrub and Lip Balm Duo

Frank Body Lip Scrub and Lip Balm Duo

I'm sure many of you default to Aquaphor or Carmex during the winter, when your lips are superdry. I want to make a case for Frank Body Lip Scrub and Lip Balm Duo ($15), though, and I believe you, too, will become a devotee like myself. First off, how smart is it to include a lip scrub with the balm? Many times you need to slough off the dead skin or else no amount of lip balm is going to help your kisser.

Frank Body is made with natural ingredients like coffee seed oil, which is filled with fatty acids and vitamin E to help hydrate your lips while retaining water. (It also smells and tastes like coffee — bonus!) Many lip balms are made with camphor, which cools the lips but dries them out quickly — defeating the purpose of the product. Frank Body uses naturally derived ingredients that are majorly nourishing.

Guerlain Rose Aux Joues Smile Blush Duo

Guerlain Rose Aux Joues Smile Blush Duo

My plan for beating the Winter blues is to open this gorgeous, kitschy blush every time I need a reminder to cheer up! The Guerlain Rose Aux Joues Smile Blush Duo ($62) is not only adorably peppy, but it also offers a pink, Apres-ski pop to my cheeks. And the fact that I can create depth and contour with the two colors just adds to my happiness.

Kleenex Exfoliating Cushions

Kleenex Exfoliating Cushions

There are few things I love more than a travel-friendly skin care product, and these cleansing pads from Kleenex ($8) are especially fantastic. The water-activated face wash cushions foam up with a delicately floral-scented soap. Use the blue side for a stronger exfoliation session, or turn it over to just gently wipe your face clean! The cushions are very effective — they remove aggressive contouring makeup without drying out my complexion. I'm packing a few of these in a resealable bag for my next vacation.

Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Peel

Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Peel

During the Winter, maintaining a glowing complexion without stripping your skin is tough. So, to continue refining my acne-scarred skin, I added the Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Peels ($88) to my bedtime routine. The pads are infused with high doses of powerhouse antioxidant ferulic acid and skin savior retinol to deeply exfoliate and prevent wrinkles. If you’re wary of chemical peel treatments, don’t fret. The gentle formula is made to work overnight and pairs seamlessly with your favorite night cream or oil to rejuvenate your skin, so you'll wake up glowing.

Pixi Brow Brightener

Pixi Brow Brightener

Though I'm admittedly obsessed with my brows, I didn't expect to love this product as much as I do! I currently have three products in my arch-creation rotation — a powder, a pencil, and a tinted mousse — but this shimmering brow mascara ($12) has convinced me to round out my arsenal to an even four. The glimmering formula adds hold and subtle sparkle, giving my eyebrows a brighter, sun-kissed look. (It's almost as if tropical sunshine lightly bleached them.) I'll be wearing this all Winter as I dream of warmer climates.

Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Tinted Primer

Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Tinted Primer

I love Benefit Cosmetics, but I was initially skeptical of this product. Tinted eyelash primer? Who needs that? If I put anything on my lashes, it's mascara, and if I'm using a primer, nobody is going to see its color after I apply my mascara anyway. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by They're Real Tinted Primer ($24).

Here's the deal: the primer is a brown shade, and it's light and fluffy enough that you can slap some on to run errands without feeling made up. Many of my friends had no idea I was wearing any product at all on my lashes because the finish is so natural. It helped accentuate my lashes — almost like a professional tint that you can wash off. (It's great for getting all those little blonde lashes.) I especially love that you can apply mascara over it whenever you'd like without fear of clumping. It acts like padding around your lashes to make your fringe look that much better.

Drybar Mr. Incredible Leave-In Conditioner

Drybar Mr. Incredible Leave-In Conditioner

One of my secrets to silky hair is that I always put some sort of hair oil or conditioner in it after I shower. Drybar's Mr. Incredible Leave-In Conditioner ($26) has made it into my roster thanks to its unique formula: it applies like a mist yet hydrates as intensely as a cream. So you won't sacrifice volume by using. The product contains acai, coconut milk, and biotin blended with Drybar's signature sandalwood scent, making it an intoxicating, yet powerful spritz.
