Why Women Feel the Most Beautiful on Mondays at 10:06 a.m.

After a long, exhausting workweek followed by an all-too-brief weekend, it's easy to have a case of the Mondays. But according to a poll of a thousand women by London's Premier Laser Clinic, Monday is actually when women feel the most beautiful — at 10:06 a.m., to be specific. The Daily Mail claims that 31 percent of women chose this day because it's the start of the working week, while 72 percent of women chose it because it's when they set beauty routine habits for themselves. While it's not the day of the week we might have chosen, we get it! Friday was the second most popular day of the week to feel gorgeous, losing out to Monday only because lots of ladies cut corners when primping for happy hour.

The poll cited the worst day of the week for beauty as Thursday at 4:05 p.m. After four hard days of work, women are likely to be less concerned about their appearance than they are on Monday mornings. This makes sense to us — we get way more familiar with our snooze button as the week goes on! But after hearing this news, you can bet we're stashing extra beauty products at our desk for an evening pick-me-up.
