Katy Perry Gets Patriotic and Rallies With Hillary Clinton

Katy Perry was on hand to support Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at her rally in Iowa on Saturday. The star, who turned 31 on Sunday, looked patriotic while hitting the stage in a red, white, and blue outfit complete with matching nails at the Jefferson-Jackson Democratic fundraiser dinner. Katy's performance included songs like "America the Beautiful" and her own hit "Firework." The singer even took over Hillary's Instagram account for the day and shared photos of the two together, as well as a snap of a necklace she gifted Hillary for her 68th birthday, which is on Oct. 26.

Also in attendance was Hillary's husband and former US President Bill Clinton, who welcomed Katy to the stage by jokingly saying, "Look, I don't want to talk long, because I have never been the warmup act for Katy Perry before. I am well aware I am the warmup act." Keep reading to see more pictures from the event, then check out what Katy and other stars would ask if they could facilitate a presidential debate.
