Kesha Covered "Til It Happens to You," and Lady Gaga Tweeted the Perfect Response

On Saturday night, Kesha attended an LA gala event benefitting The Humane Society of the United States. While the purpose of the event was to help protect the lives of animals, Kesha lent a greater significance to the evening by covering Lady Gaga's intense song "Til It Happens to You." Before she began her tear-filled rendition, she said, "I want to dedicate this song to every man, woman, child, and animal that has ever been abused."

The song in itself is pretty emotionally charged — a quick rewatch of Gaga's performance at this year's Oscars will testify to that — but it also speaks to the ongoing legal drama between Kesha and Dr. Luke, which centers on Kesha's allegations of sexual abuse.
